This Privacy Policy describes how the jCollect mobile application ("App") and its associated services collect, use, and protect your information. This App is designed for field enumerators and administrators to capture agricultural and demographic data.

• Personal Information: Names, phone numbers, age, gender, and demographic data of registered farmers.
• Sensitive Identity Data: National Identification Number (NIN) and Bank Verification Number (BVN) for strict verification purposes.
• Location Data (GIS): GPS coordinates are collected to accurately map farm perimeters and locations. Location data is only collected while the app is in use.
• Camera and Photos: The App requires camera access to capture portrait photos of registered individuals for identity verification.
• Device Information: We may collect basic device diagnostics (such as OS version) to ensure the App functions correctly.

2. How We Use Your Information

The data collected via jCollect is used exclusively for the following purposes:

• To verify the identity of beneficiaries for agricultural intervention programs.
• To calculate farm sizes and map agricultural clusters.
• To sync field data securely to our centralized administrative dashboard for review and approval.
• To assign enumerators to specific local government areas (LGAs) and tracking field performance.

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data. We only share information under the following circumstances:

• Authorized Partners: Data may be shared with authorized agricultural partners, NGOs, and government agencies facilitating the intervention programs.
• Legal Compliance: We may disclose information if required by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.

4. Data Security

We take data security seriously. All sensitive data (including NIN and BVN) transmitted between the App and our servers is encrypted. Access to the administrative dashboard is strictly controlled via role-based authentication and secure API tokens.

5. Camera and Location Permissions

To comply with Google Play Developer Policies, we explicitly state:

• Camera: Used solely for capturing beneficiary verification photos. Photos are not used for any other purpose.
• Location: Used solely to generate polygons and waypoints for farm mapping. The App does not track user location in the background when the app is closed.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain collected data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes of the agricultural programs. If an authorized user or beneficiary wishes to request the deletion of their personal data, they may contact their program administrator or use the contact information provided below.
